Immune boosting smoothie - ginger

This immune boosting smoothie is my featured smoothie recipe for my immune boosting spices post here.


  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 ripe yellow pear
  • 1 ripe yellow kiwi
  • 1 thumb-size piece of ginger
  • 1/3 thumb-size piece of turmeric
  • A few basil leaves
  • 1 tsp. hemp-seeds


  • Peel the ginger and turmeric then chop them roughly.
  • Peel banana, pear and kiwi and chop them into suitable size for your blender.
  • Transfer all chopped ingredients and basil leaves to your blender and give it a good blend until a very smooth texture smoothie is achieved. Top with hempseeds and enjoy.
